Pupils’ healthy eating drive proving fruitful 16/09/10

LESSONS in healthy eating are simply top of the class at a South Tyneside school which is facing the axe.
Epinay Business and Enterprise School, in Clervaux Terrace, Jarrow, has teamed up with The Food Chain North East CIC to offer residents locally grown and affordable fresh fruit and vegetables.

Despite recently being judged as “outstanding” by Government inspectors, the Jarrow school faces closure as part of a major shake-up in borough special schools.
